Mary Giuliani is the founder and creative force behind Mary Giuliani Catering & Events (MGCE), an award-winning, New York–based hospitality company she launched in 2005 with a passion for entertaining, storytelling, silly sophistication and humble hospitality. Over the past two decades, she has become one of the most sought-after names in the industry, creating events for the worlds of art, fashion, entertainment, and beyond.
A three-time author, Mary has written The Cocktail Party: Eat, Drink, Play, Recover, Tiny Hot Dogs: A Memoir in Small Bites, and How to Lose Friends and Influence No One, each infused with her signature wit, honesty, and deep love of food as both connector and conversation starter.
Expanding her creative footprint, Mary is also the operator of a historic New York event space in Chelsea, New York, which she fittingly renamed STORIED—a venue designed to host the next generation of iconic gatherings while honoring the many unforgettable moments that came before it.
Beyond the party, Mary has built a robust television presence, appearing on Billions, Barefoot Contessa, The Today Show, Good Morning America, and as a longtime featured regular on The Rachael Ray Show. Whether she’s on set or on site, her approach remains the same: thoughtful, fun, sophisticated and just irreverent enough to keep things interesting.
As MGCE celebrates it’s 21st birthday, Mary is currently developing Tiny Hot Dogs: A Memoir in Small Bites into a television series, where she will serve as showrunner and head writer—because if anyone knows how to turn bite-sized stories into something binge-worthy, it’s Mary.
